
The Southern Inland Swimming Association (SISA) is celebrating an outstanding fortnight of performances after 39 swimmers from across the region represented their clubs at the 2026 Australian Open, Age and Multi‑Class National Championships on the Gold Coast.
Swimmers from Albury, Corowa, North Albury, Wagga, and Young proudly flew the flag for Southern NSW, with several athletes making their Nationals debut and many achieving personal best times across the meet.

The Southern Inland Swimming Association short course Winter Championships will be held on Sunday 14th June to be held at The Griffith Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
Entries are $8.00 per event and are now open on Swim Central.
Warm up begins at 10:00 am on Sunday with racing to start at 11:00 am.

Southern Inland Swimming Association Annual Report 2025

The Southern Inland Swimming Association encompasses the three zones of South West, Riverina and Murray. The map above identifies the extent of the Southern Inland area which currently includes 34 affiliated swimming clubs. The SISA area is bordered by the Murray River in the South, Hay in the West, Ungarie in the North and Yass in the East.
SISA region clubs host annual development and qualifying meets which are run under the rules of the association. SISA seeks to foster and develop swimming among its member clubs via its volunteer committee development officer and development convenor.
